Meet Steven-Founder of
The Garagers
I didn't start out fixing garage doors — I started out as a chef. In 2011, I traded the kitchen for a torsion wrench, and I haven't looked back since.
Within my first three months in the industry, I was the top-rated technician in the state of Arizona. My employer took notice, and within a year they relocated my family to Orange County to help open a new branch here. I climbed to #1 out of 352 technicians company-wide, built that branch from the ground up, and held the lowest warranty callback rate in the entire company — low enough that I got flown to Texas to train other technicians.
When my wife became pregnant with our 4th child, I decided it was time to open my own company. It did well — well enough that we sold it and moved to Florida, where I got to dive into an entirely different specialty: hurricane-rated garage doors built to survive coastal storms.
Since moving back to Orange County, I started The Garagers — not as a side project, but as the company I'd always wanted to build. We're fully licensed and insured (CSLB #1128098), because trust shouldn't be something you have to take on faith. This is the company every neighbor, business owner, and family in South Orange County can actually rely on for their garage door: no upsells, no shortcuts, just honest work done right the first time.
